Meet Our Team

The Center for Relational Care (CRC) helps couples, families/children, and single adults experience deeper, more meaningful relationships with God and others. Our staff includes fully licensed therapists, pastoral counselors, post graduate level interns, and masters degree level students.

DIRECTORS

Bruce Walker, Ph.D, LPC-S, LMFT-S

Educational Background

  • M.A. in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

  • Ph.D. in Psychology and Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

Area of Focus 

  • Relationships and unresolved issues from childhood

  • Accelerated Relational Care (ARC) Process

  • Working with couples needing to heal, reconcile, and grow

  • Lead facilitator at CRC Relational Care Intensives for marriages in crisis 

  • Trains counselors and ministry teams in the Intimacy Therapy model

 

Personal Info

Dr. Walker co-authored two books with Dr. David Ferguson—Discovering Intimacy and Relational First Aid. Prior to entering seminary, Bruce worked for Conoco, IBM, and AIESEC, an international organization based in Belgium. The Walkers have one married son, Andrew. Bruce enjoys photography, golf, and international missions.

Bruce and Joyce recently relocated to Edmond, Oklahoma where they will continue to serve couples and individuals needing help in their relationships.
