Hi, I am Paul…

I believe that healing and restoration are possible. Sometimes the messiness of life, and the pain that comes with it, makes that truth difficult to internalize. I’m passionate about walking alongside you as you seek healing, wholeness, and fullness in each area of your life. I’m committed to creating a space where you can process hurts, examine beliefs that may no longer be serving you well, and help you discover the tools to propel you forward in your journey.

I approach my work with individuals, couples, and teens through a family systems lens. I believe that healing is often found in exploring the ways in which we are connected to both our creator and each other. While we are often hurt through relationships, we also find healing in relationships. I draw on a variety of tools including mindfulness, somatic sensing, cognitive behavioral/processing, and the Gottman method.

I am a graduate of Dallas Christian College where I earned a bachelor’s in Biblical Studies. I went on to earn an MA in Counseling from Seminary of the Southwest and an MA in Theological Studies from Austin Graduate School of Theology. I’ve been a Licensed Professional Counselor (License #69996) since 2012. Since 2000, I served in various pastoral roles including student minister, worship minister, and lead pastor.

I have been married to my wife, Jill, since 2001 and we have two sons. I enjoy listening to and creating music, a good cup of coffee (especially if I’ve roasted the beans), playing disc golf with my boys, and a good road trip to the mountains with my wife.
