About me...

I love facilitating the healing bond between caregivers and their children, while coming alongside caregivers to equip and empower them as they help their child navigate difficult life circumstances. We work through big feelings and hard stories in the counseling room through play, sand tray, expressive arts, music, books, and experiential activities.

Most of my experience as a therapist has been working with children and families who are victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and domestic violence. I have a passion for supporting children and caregivers through behavioral and emotional challenges that result from trauma, as well as providing a space for children to feel safe and make sense of their stories.

Before becoming a counselor, I worked in international education for many years - overseas and stateside - as an art teacher and graphic designer, and I have enjoyed translating my passion for creativity to the counseling room. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, crafting, traveling, and being outdoors.
