Hi, I'm Todd...
The reality is we live in a broken world. That includes people who suffer from anxiety, depression, compulsions, addictions, and other challenges. It also includes broken relationships with our spouse, family, and friends whom we love but for one reason or another struggle to get along with well. Sometimes our brokenness relates to our relationship with God because we have seen or endured so much suffering. At times, our situation seems bleak and hopeless.
I approach counseling with a Christ-centered, biblically-based worldview. When working with individuals and couples, I help to identify clients’ unwanted, harmful thoughts and behaviors, and replace them with helpful, hopeful, and loving thoughts and behaviors.
I worship and serve as a ruling elder at my local church, and spent nearly 30 years in Austin’s software industry. My wife and I have been happily married for over 30 years, and we have two wonderful adult children.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
