Parenting Workshops

Parenting is hard but you don't have to go through it on your own!

Sometimes we need additional support or resources to help navigate new situations.

Sometimes what used to work, no longer works.

Sometimes it is hard to keep giving care when our own buckets are empty.

Join one of our workshops to gain new insights and learn new interventions, receive some encouragement about the work you are already doing or just get some extra support.

If you have an idea for a workshop you would like to see, please email us.

Talking "The Talk"

How to confidently talk to your kids
about sex and their bodies

Most of us can remember “The Talk”, often marked by awkwardness, discomfort, or even confusion. For many parents, those memories can make it feel difficult to approach conversations about sex with their own children.

But what if it didn’t have to be that way?

What if conversations about sex could feel natural, grounded, and even meaningful?

Sex was created by God out of love and for our good. When we begin from that truth, “The Talk” becomes less about a one-time conversation to get through, and more about building ongoing, healthy dialogue rooted in trust, truth, and connection.

Talking “The Talk” is designed to equip parents with both the confidence and the tools to approach these conversations in a way that reflects their values and strengthens their relationship with their children.

In this workshop, parents will:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of the theology of sex and the goodness of our bodies

  • Learn how to navigate and respond to the messages their children are receiving from social media, entertainment, peers, and culture

  • Build confidence and comfort in communicating truth with clarity and grace

  • Walk away with practical tools to foster ongoing conversations that lead to honesty, safety, and trust
