About me...
Everyone is hardwired for intimacy and connection, yet so often we feel isolated, unseen, unheard, and unknown. This causes all kinds of anxiety, pain, and division that leaves us feeling stuck. My hope is to cultivate growth and healing by creating a safe space for individuals and couples to process difficult thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and experiences. Additionally, my process as a counselor is to meet people right where they are, build warm and genuine relationships, and work together to create practical steps to move forward. Lastly, I strive to equip people with helpful tools to continue growth and healing outside of counseling. My ultimate mission statement for life is to come alongside others to help them fully know who they are, love who they are, and live who they are, all in light of who God is.
I originally grew up in Dallas and met my beautiful wife after college in Tyler, Texas. We moved to Austin five years ago because it is where she is originally from, and we absolutely love it here! We have two dogs (both dachshunds), and we enjoy playing soccer and hiking. We currently lead a community group through our local church , and prior to counseling, I taught Spanish and coached soccer at Austin High School.
