Jim Walter

Jim Walter counsels both individuals and couples, supporting clients in recovery from serious issues like infidelity, communication breakdown, and emotional disconnection. He also helps with resolving difficult emotions such as hurt, anger, fear, and guilt and shame with God as well as with significant others. Unresolved childhood issues are often addressed in counseling sessions. His special focus in recent years has been how to deepen our experience of joyful connection with God. Prior to CRC, Jim served as an Associate Pastor for 14 years and with Intimate Life Ministries in counseling, training, and resource development for 12 years. He holds a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Becky, have been married for 40+ years and have five grown children. Becky provides a strong relational and spiritual emphasis in her ministry as a second grade teacher. They also have a wonderful granddaughter, Zoe, with whom they are very close.
