Hi, I'm Sarah...

I believe that we all desire loving human connection and peace of mind. In our quest for connection and peace, we must face the wounds we have inflicted and the wounds we have received in life.

Counseling is a collaboration! I desire to really know each client I work with—their complex history, present joys, and daily struggles. It is a great joy to support clients on a journey toward well-being. My therapeutic approach is influenced by attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB), and adaptive information processing via EMDR.

I am a native Texan. My husband and I have raised four children here in Austin. After twenty years in education settings, I sensed my vocation is to help meet the needs of others by intimately connecting with them. I love being with family and friends and investing in interesting conversations. You might also find me attempting to up my pickleball game or binge-watching British murder mysteries.
