Existential exploration
We all long to be known, to feel understood in the questions, fears, and quiet struggles that accompany being human. Sometimes we find ourselves bumping into old wounds, noting patterns that no longer serve us, or in relationships that feel painful or confusing. And sometimes we feel completely thwarted. Therapy offers a space to gently explore those places.
As a therapist, I care about truly knowing the people I work with—their history, their gifts, and the burdens they carry. It is an honor to walk alongside clients as they move toward greater clarity, healing, and wholeness.
My work is influenced by interpersonal neurobiology, adaptive information processing, internal family systems, and attachment theory. These frameworks help me understand how past experiences shape present patterns, guiding us toward change through safe, attuned relationships.
I am a native Texan. My husband and I have raised four children here in Austin. After twenty years in education settings, I sensed a calling toward therapeutic work. I sit (or walk!) with people and have meaningful conversations about their lives. Outside the office, you’re likely to find me enjoying time with family and friends, taking long walks, reading, or watching British murder mysteries.
