Disclosure Intensives

The “Rite of Truth” - How to Rebuild After Betrayal

Uncovering betrayal doesn’t just reveal new information; it unsteadies the entire foundation of a relationship. What once felt steady can quickly feel disorienting, and the need for truth becomes both urgent and essential. Many couples find themselves caught between the desire for clarity and the fear of causing more harm.
The reality is, disclosure can be a pivotal step toward healing, but without the right support, it can also reinforce the very wounds it’s designed to repair.

A Trauma-Informed Approach to Disclosure

Disclosure Intensives grounded in the Restoring Truth Model offer a process designed to be:

  • Partner-sensitive

  • Trauma-informed

  • Structured for clarity, safety, and containment

  • Focused on restoring truth in a way that heals, not retraumatizes, the relationship

This approach recognizes that disclosure is not just about information but safety, respect, and repair.

Professionally guided disclosures have been shown to support partners, betrayers, and the relationship when done with care, intentionality, and structure.

What is a Disclosure Intensive?

A Disclosure Intensive is a focused, guided experience that helps couples move through the disclosure process with clarity and support rather than confusion or reactivity.

Together, we will:

  • Prepare both partners thoughtfully and thoroughly

  • Clarify needs, boundaries, and expectations

  • Facilitate a structured disclosure process

  • Support immediate stabilization and next steps for recovery

A disclosure intensive is not a passive experience. It requires a clear commitment, free from distractions or avoidance, and a willingness to engage in meaningful and at times uncomfortable work in service of truth and repair.

This is not rushed work, and it is not work you have to navigate alone.

Who is This For?

Disclosure Intensives may be a good fit for couples navigating:

  • Affairs or infidelity

  • Sexual addiction or compulsive sexual behavior

  • Ongoing secrecy or staggered “trickle” disclosure

  • Betrayal trauma and relational rupture

Whether you are early in discovery or have been sitting with information for some time, this process creates a pathway forward in hope and healing.
