Giving Tuesday 2020

At Center for Relational Care, we know that this year has been a challenging one on so many levels. The COVID-19 pandemic’s effects have been far-reaching – almost everyone has been impacted by either physical suffering, relational isolation, emotional distress, or financial loss… and we know that some have experienced all of the above and more.

During this time, we at CRC have been…

  • grieved by the struggles and losses in our communities

  • inspired by the courage and perseverance of our clients and communities

  • honored to be trusted to walk alongside children, adolescents, adult individuals, couples, and families this year on their respective journeys of survival, healing, and growth

  • grateful for the gifts of gracious donors who have given the funds that have allowed us to provide free telehealth COVID Support Sessions to adult individuals who request them, and to provide Special Needs Financial Assistance for counseling with children, adolescents, adult individuals, couples, and families

  • humbled to partner with churches and other amazing community organizations in a growing interdependent and connected infrastructure of care

There are so many wonderful ministries and organizations in both our Austin and Atlanta communities who have stepped up to provide financial assistance, food assistance, educational and childcare assistance, and to meet the many other needs that the COVID-19 pandemic has created. In the midst of the most world-consuming disaster that many of us are old enough to remember, it has been beautiful to see these organizations and the staff and volunteers within them represent the “hands and feet” of Jesus to those who are hurting and in need.

So many organizations are worthy of consideration on this #GivingTuesday. If you are in a position to give and would like to give towards the emotional and relational health of your communities during this time of trauma and loss, we would be honored to steward your gift towards making counseling care available to those who are struggling.

100% of donations received by CRC on this #GivingTuesday will be used towards off-setting the cost of professional counseling support for children, adults, couples, and families in need. CRC is grateful to partner with the National Christian Foundation towards this end. If you desire to make a donation to CRC, you can do so at this link: https://www.relationalcare.org/give.

Many of the foundations of our day-to-day lives have been shaken this year, but we can rest knowing that God’s lovingkindness will not be removed from us…. and that peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition are our heritage as servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:10, 19). We pray peace over you as you trust in Him during this Christmas season and into the coming year.
